Discovery at Liverpool Land

Last week, on a trip along the coast of Liverpool Land, we discovered a new piece of land!

Part of a steep mountain, called “Nakkehoved”, at the mouth of Horsens Fjord, has broken off. Falling into the ocean, it has turned into a small point, a new tongue of land!

We were heading towards Kap Greg to look for polar bears, when we made this discovery.

On our way back to Kap Høgh, we decided to take a closer look at the new point – the hill in front of the dogs, still covered by loose stones, in the picture above.

Walking on “new land”.

We could hear stones rolling or falling down all the time while being near the mountain …

… and therefore we decided not to stay close to it for too long.

But – it was truly an impressive sight and a very special experience, to be there! 🙂
